At SPG, we know what it’s like when you’re throughly immersed in the day-to-day workings of your business. There’s the uncertainty, the squeamishness of enquiring about help, but it’s not a weakness. It is, in fact, an entirely logical psychological situation to be in. Your business is your baby, you’ve got to protect it and shape it in the way you want, in an entirely trusted manner. It’s totally understandable – you’re using all of your physical and emotional energy in the day to put it towards every task that only you, and a select few people you trust, has to done in the right way. So, you’re not likely to approach a bunch of people that you don’t know, to ask about solving a problem you might not fully be able describe, and you’re not going to trust consultants who hold a reputation for being one-dimensional, giving a off-hands approach before asking for payment for something that isn’t fully implemented by the end of it.

Now, we think there’s a time for change. A reset button for the way businesses should work with consultants. It shouldn’t be intimidating, it shouldn’t feel like an exclusive club only for the big players. It shouldn’t feel like the only option is to be locked into an arrangement that you’re scared to commit to, especially when you don’t know what the right solution should be. It shouldn’t feel like you’re being pushed before you can make the strides yourself.

It’s time for change.
